In addition to competing in Kansas City Barbecue Society (“KCBS”) and Steak Cookoff Association (“SCA”) events, Sunny and Jeff take their four daughters (aged 5 to 14) on road trips across the country.

Sunny underwent a huge lifestyle transition after receiving a life-altering diagnosis of a brain and spinal abnormality as well as multiple sclerosis (MS). She lost 80 pounds as a result of her transformation, which fueled her desire to become a certified nutrition coach and personal trainer.
She now uses her broad experience in nutrition to make recipes, and nothing brings her greater delight than teaching others how to prepare scrumptious meals by barbecuing and grilling.
