Since a lot people seem to think Vevet Sky has zero wrestling ability.
Think about it if Velvet Sky had absolutely no wrestling ability what so ever then how in the hell did she get signed to TNA not mention how did she win all of these titles?

I will say this as a fan Velvet Sky is not the greatest in ring performer but she sure as hell isn't as bad as people make her out to be. She CAN wrestle and if she was allowed could have some good matches, but for some weird reason TNA doesn't think she can.
Velvet can work pretty well when given the chance back in 2008 she had two good matches with Gail Kim and in their second match Velvet showed a mean streak that's she is rarely allowed to show and showed some good ring psychology by going after Gail's injured leg in the match.
It's like people seem to forget that she had more a move set before she was paired with Angelina Love and before they turned heel and became the Beautiful People.
Speaking of the Beautiful People I am a fan of Angelina Love as well and she is very talented and I am glad that she is back in TNA. However, I am tired of people giving all the credit to Angelina for the BP and act like Velvet had nothing to do with the success of the group. Velvet worked just as hard as Angelina did to get the group over and she played her part to perfection.
Yes Angelina is obviously the better worker of the two but I still believe that Velvet could be something more then her current role if TNA allowed her to be. I would like to see her get a push in the near future.
Also it is not Velvet Sky’s fault that the current version of the Beautiful People isn’t that good as was when was just Angelina and her. Velvet has done the best she could and pretty much carried them as far as charisma goes but it’s obvious that she doesn’t have the same chemistry with Madison Rayne and Lacey Von Erich as she did with Angelina Love. Plus the way they are booked doesn’t help them either.
I will admit that Velvet doesn’t seem to show as much enthusiasm and have as much fun doing the BP gimmick as she used to but I can’t really blame her.
I know some people think that Velvet doesn't have what it takes to make it on her own without the BP gimmick, but I think she could if given the chance but I don't TNA is going to give her that chance.
Another thing people seem to forget is that Velvet has to play up her character and gimmick which is a woman that cares more about her looks then her wrestling skills and that she isn't booked to do a lot of stuff. However, with that it makes her come off like she can't wrestle and I think that TNA creative really needs to take some responsibility for that.
I will admit that Velvet can stand to make some improvements in the ring but she is never going to make those improvements with the way that she is booked and her limited ring time.
Speaking of Velvet's booking and her lack of credibility in TNA. They never allow her to win matches or look good on TV so of course she has no credibility.
Her biggest achievement in TNA was winning a Knockouts Battle Royal by pinning Gail Kim to earn a Knockouts title shot against the then champion Taylor Wilde
Here is where the problem starts. Velvet has the match and she loses not once, not twice but three times in one match! I understand they needed to make Taylor Wilde look strong as a champion but that was just ridiculous.
I don’t care how you feel about Velvet as a performer she did not deserve that. All it did was bury her as legitimate title contender and someone that could have been a top face or heel for the company.
Anyway closing thoughts. I feel that Velvet Sky is a good all around talent that I feel TNA could use better.
At 28 I think Velvet still has time to improve and get better but I know a lot people don’t see it that way.
