It turns out that Joe Jonas almost made a hilarious mistake. Apparently, the singer nearly kissed his wife’s body double on Game of Thrones by accident since he mistook her for Sophie.
It’s safe to say Game of Thrones chose the best body double for Sophie Turner possible since it fooled even the actress’ man.
Laura Butler chatted with Daily Mail and revealed this during the interview.
And that’s not all! Supposedly, Sophie’s co-stars, including her best friend Maisie Williams had to do a double-take since she looks so much like her.
The fellow cast members came to Laura to have conversations thinking it was the actress, and even congratulated her on the engagement with Joe Jonas at the time.
The double told the news outlet that she did not actually think they looked that much alike until one day when Joe stopped by the set to visit Sophie and leaned in for a kiss before finally realizing she was not Sophie.
This is something she previously revealed back in June as well while on Australian radio station Nova.
‘Joe went up to her at one point and tried to give her a kiss. He was like, ‘Oh, sorry, sorry! It’s not Sophie!’’
Laura stressed that she took it as a compliment.
The college student dished that she did not really get why she would get mistaken for the actress on the street and at school.

‘In pictures I suppose that I see the resemblance, but when I am standing next to her or looking at her directly I do not see it. I think it is more the character (Sansa) than Sophie herself, if that makes any sense. I am not sure if it’s the hair color. But she even said herself, ‘oh, this is a bit weird.’ A few of my friends said things to me throughout school. I’d seen pictures of her but I did not think I looked anything like her then. Personally I did not see it but they did.’
