Julie formerly worked at 13 news and was working as a meteorologist at the time of her death.

She was the daughter of Rosa Hubbard and shared a sibling named Cheryl Wilcox. Julie was also the mother of two children, Liam and Callum Wilcox.

The burial services are scheduled to take place on Friday, i.e., 20th Jan, at 12:00 in the afternoon. The burial will be performed in a Christian way.

Julie worked for multiple welfare causes. She raised money for the breast cancer foundation and was able to donate around $70,000 with the help of her friends and family. She also worked for SPCA for the cause of finding homes for stray animals in Hampton streets.
